What happens
- Two to three hours, longer on a car that has had a hard life. Interior condition is a question in the booking flow for exactly that reason.
- Cold-water extraction, the same machine we run on sofas and carpets in houses. It lifts what has soaked into the fibre.
- We work around a fitted child seat. We will not empty a glovebox, so clear personal items out first.

$199 is a starting price. A bigger job, or one in worse shape, costs more, and you will have the exact number before we start. Minimum job $100.

Before you book
Will it get the smell out?
Usually, because most smells are held in the fabric and the extractor pulls them out with everything else. Smoke that has been in a car for years may not fully go, and you will hear that before we start rather than after.
Is pet hair included?
Vacuuming is included. Hair that has worked into the weave has to be lifted before it will vacuum out, which is genuinely another hour, so it is a separate add-on.
Do you steam clean?
No. The extractor runs cold. It lifts dirt, grit and what has soaked into the fibres. It does not sanitise and we do not tell you it does.
Are you insured?
Not yet, and we would rather say so here than have you find out at the door. Lunova is new and general liability cover is being put in place — until it is, we are not taking work that requires a certificate of insurance, and we will tell you before you book if that affects your job. Everything else on this site stands: flat-rate pricing confirmed before we start, nothing charged at booking, and The Lunova Redo if the work is not right.
