The things people actually ask.
Including the awkward ones. If an answer here is a no, it is a no on this page rather than a surprise on the day.

True of both lines.
Booking, price and payment
Are you insured?
Not yet, and we would rather say so here than have you find out at the door. Lunova is new and general liability cover is being put in place — until it is, we are not taking work that requires a certificate of insurance, and we will tell you before you book if that affects your job. Everything else on this site stands: flat-rate pricing confirmed before we start, nothing charged at booking, and The Lunova Redo if the work is not right.
Do you charge a deposit?
No. Nothing is charged at booking on either line. You pay when the work is done and you have seen it.
How does the price get set?
You see a flat rate in the booking flow, built from the package you chose and the questions you answered. We confirm it before we start. If what we find does not match what you described, you hear the revised number before any work begins and you decide.
How far out are you booking?
Usually the same week. Lunova is two people and one truck, so the honest version is that some weeks are tighter than others. The booking flow shows you what is actually open rather than taking a request and getting back to you.
What if I need to reschedule?
Text or call at least 24 hours ahead and we move it. No fee for a standard reschedule.
Do you offer recurring plans?
Both lines have them. Cleaning runs weekly, bi-weekly or monthly; detailing runs monthly, every two months or quarterly. The discount is calculated against your own job in the booking flow and comes off automatically. No contract, and you can change or stop it whenever.
Can you do the house and the car on the same visit?
Yes, and it is cheaper that way: 10% comes off the combined total, because the drive is already paid for by the first job. We can wash and deodorise your bins while we are there for $29 too.
What areas do you cover?
The Kansas City metro, on both sides of the state line. There is a ZIP checker on the service area page that answers it in one field, and if we are not on your street yet it says so rather than taking the booking.
Standard, deep, move-out and short-let turnovers.
House cleaning
Do I need to be home?
No. Leave a code or a key arrangement in the booking notes. Plenty of people are there for the first visit and not after that.
What if it takes longer than you thought?
That is on us, as long as the house matched what you described when you booked. If it did not, you hear the revised number before we start and you decide.
What's not included in a standard clean?
The things the deep clean covers: inside appliances, baseboards, cabinet interiors and anything that needs furniture moved. We also do not clean exterior windows and we do not haul junk.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes, all products and equipment, and the detergents are biodegradable. If you would rather we used something of yours, leave it out and say so in the notes.
Can you clean carpets and upholstery?
Yes, and it is the same extractor we use on car interiors, which is why a house cleaner has one at all. It is priced per room and per piece as an add-on to a clean we are already booked for. Cold-water extraction: it lifts dirt, grit and what has soaked into the fibres, and we do not claim it sanitises.
Express washes, interior details and the full job.
Car detailing
Do you need my water and power?
Water, yes, from an outdoor spigot. There is no tank on the truck. Power, no, we bring our own. Tell us when you book if your tap is hard to reach and we will work it out before the day rather than in your driveway.
How long does it take?
An express wash is about an hour, an interior detail two to three, and a full detail three to four. Those are the numbers we schedule against, so if we are going to run over you hear it before we start.
What vehicles do you detail?
Cars, trucks, SUVs and vans. Price goes by size and you see yours before you book.
Can you get this stain out?
Often. Extraction lifts most spills out of the fibre rather than spreading them. Set-in dye, bleach and anything bonded to the fibre may not come out, and we will tell you which we think it is before charging you to try.
Do you do ceramic coating or paint correction?
Not yet. We apply a ceramic spray sealant that holds up for around six months, which is the right call on a daily driver. A real coating and multi-stage correction need different equipment and a different risk appetite, and we will point you at someone who has both rather than sell you a substitute.
Do you steam clean the interior?
No. The extractor runs cold. It lifts dirt, grit and what has soaked into the fibres, and that is all we claim for it. Most of this market advertises heat; ours is unheated and we would rather say so than match the claim.
Not answered here? Text or call and you will get one of the two people who would be doing the job. The full terms of The Lunova Redo are on their own page, including what it does not cover.
Still deciding?
Text us and describe the job. We will tell you what it costs and whether we are the right people for it.
