Privacy Policy, SMS Terms & Website Terms

Lunova Services LLC

Effective date: August 25, 2026

This document describes how Lunova Services LLC collects, uses, and shares your information, and the terms governing text messages we send you. By using our website, booking a service, or communicating with us, you agree to the practices described here. The terms under which we provide our services are set out separately in our Terms of Service.

1. Interpretation and Definitions

Words with capitalized first letters have the meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether they appear in singular or plural form.

  • Company (also “Lunova,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) refers to Lunova Services LLC, a Missouri limited liability company.
  • Client Portal refers to our proprietary customer account and booking system located at portal.lunovaservices.com.
  • Contractor means an independent contractor engaged by Lunova to perform services on our behalf.
  • Personal Data means information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Property Access Information means credentials or instructions that allow entry to your home, vehicle, or property, including gate codes, garage codes, alarm codes, lockbox codes, key locations, and parking instructions.
  • Service refers to our website, Client Portal, advertisements, booking system, and the residential cleaning, mobile detailing, and bin cleaning services we provide.
  • Service Provider means a third party that processes data on our behalf.
  • Usage Data means data collected automatically through your use of the Service, such as pages visited and referring source.
  • You means the individual using the Service, or the entity on whose behalf that individual is acting.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Mobile and landline phone numbers
  • Service address and billing address
  • Property details relevant to the job (square footage, number of rooms, pets on site, surface types)
  • Vehicle details for detailing services (make, model, color, condition notes)
  • Service preferences, special instructions, and scheduling history
  • Communications you send us by text, email, phone, or through the Client Portal

2.2 Property Access Information

To perform services when you are not present, we may collect gate codes, garage codes, alarm codes, lockbox codes, key location instructions, and similar access credentials. Because this information is unusually sensitive, we handle it under the additional safeguards described in Section 5.

2.3 Photographs

We photograph work areas and vehicles before and after service for quality control, damage documentation, and dispute resolution. See Section 6 for how photographs may be used in marketing and how to opt out.

2.4 Payment information

Payments are processed by Square, Inc. Card numbers, CVV codes, and bank account details are transmitted directly to Square and are not stored on Lunova systems. We retain only transaction records: amount, date, service performed, and the last four digits of the payment method.

2.5 Usage Data

Our website uses Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track visitors across other websites. It records aggregate information such as page views, referring source, general geographic region, browser type, and device type. We do not currently operate advertising pixels or cross-site tracking on our website.

2.6 Information from lead sources

When you request a quote through Google Local Services Ads, Angi, Thumbtack, or a similar platform, that platform provides us with your contact details and the details of your request. We receive this information because you submitted an inquiry through that platform, and our use of it is governed by this policy. The platform’s own collection practices are governed by its privacy policy, not ours.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, schedule, and perform the services you request
  • Route jobs to the appropriate Contractor and give them the information needed to complete the work
  • Contact you about bookings, arrival windows, delays, completions, and invoices by SMS, phone, or email
  • Create and manage your Client Portal account
  • Process payments and issue receipts and invoices
  • Document work performed and resolve service or damage disputes
  • Request reviews and administer our referral program
  • Send promotional offers and service updates, where you have not opted out
  • Improve our services, pricing, and website
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only as follows:

  • Contractors. Independent contractors performing your job receive your name, service address, phone number, job details, and any Property Access Information required to complete the work. All Contractors are required to sign a confidentiality agreement before receiving customer information, and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than performing the assigned job.
  • Service Providers. Square (payment processing), Twilio (text messaging), Google Workspace (email and file storage), and our website and hosting providers. Each receives only the information needed to perform its function.
  • Lead platforms. We may confirm job status or respond to reviews through the platform that referred you.
  • Legal. Where required by law, subpoena, court order, or to investigate suspected fraud, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lunova, our customers, or the public.
  • Business transfer. If Lunova is acquired, merged, or sells substantially all of its assets, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction. You will be notified of any such transfer.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in consent and text messaging originator opt-in data are excluded from all categories of sharing described above and will never be shared with any third party.

5. Handling of Property Access Information

Access codes and key instructions receive additional protection:

  • They are stored in your Client Portal record and are accessible only to Lunova and to the Contractor assigned to your job.
  • They are provided to Contractors on a per-job basis and only when the job requires unattended entry.
  • They are never transmitted in marketing communications and are not included in any data shared with lead platforms or analytics tools.
  • You may ask us to delete stored access information at any time by emailing us. We will delete it within 5 business days. Note that deleting access information may require you to be present at future appointments.
  • We recommend using a temporary or service-specific code where your system supports one, and changing it after service ends.

6. Photographs and Marketing

We photograph work areas and vehicles before and after every service. These photographs are used by default for quality control, damage documentation, and dispute resolution.

We may also use photographs of completed work in our marketing, including our website, social media, and advertising. When used for marketing:

  • We exclude images showing house numbers, license plates, mail, documents, family photographs, or other identifying details.
  • We do not identify you by name or disclose your address.
  • You may opt out at any time by emailing us or telling your technician. Opting out does not affect your service in any way.

If you would prefer to consent affirmatively rather than opt out, tell us and we will mark your account accordingly.

7. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

7.1 Consent

By providing your mobile number and affirmatively opting in — through the checkbox on our booking form, in the Client Portal, or by written or verbal confirmation to a Lunova representative — you consent to receive text messages from Lunova Services LLC at that number.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service. You may book and receive service without agreeing to marketing texts. Transactional messages about a booking you have made are sent as part of providing the service.

7.2 Types of messages

  • Appointment confirmations and scheduling
  • Arrival windows, technician-en-route notices, and delay notifications
  • Service completion notices and follow-up
  • Invoices, payment reminders, and receipts
  • Review requests and referral program messages
  • Promotional offers and seasonal service reminders

7.3 Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity. You can expect up to 5 messages per booking for transactional purposes, and no more than 4 promotional messages per month.

7.4 Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Rates are set by your mobile carrier, not by Lunova.

7.5 Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message, after which we will send no further texts to that number. You may still receive service-critical communication by phone or email.

7.6 Help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, email us, or call (816) 315-1305.

7.7 Carrier liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7.8 Privacy

Your phone number is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We do not share SMS opt-in consent with any third party for solicitation purposes.

8. Email Marketing, Reviews, and Referrals

We send promotional email only to customers and to individuals who have requested information from us. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link and our physical mailing address. Unsubscribing from marketing email does not stop transactional email about your bookings and invoices.

Review requests are sent after service completion. Referral program communications are sent to customers who enroll and to individuals whose contact information is submitted by an enrolled customer; anyone referred to us may opt out of further contact by replying STOP or unsubscribing.

9. Data Retention

We retain customer records for as long as your account is active and for 7 years afterward, to comply with tax, accounting, and liability requirements. Property Access Information is deleted on request or within 12 months of your last completed service, whichever comes first. Photographs are retained for 2 years for damage-claim purposes unless used in marketing, in which case they are retained until you opt out.

10. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards, including encrypted transmission, access controls limiting customer data to personnel who need it, and contractual confidentiality obligations for Contractors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to records we must retain by law
  • Opt out of marketing texts, marketing email, and marketing use of photographs

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Utah, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights under those laws, along with the right to be free from discrimination for exercising them. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no opt-out of sale to exercise.

To make a request, email us or call (816) 315-1305. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity by confirming details of your service history before acting on a request.

12. Children

Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Service agreements may only be entered into by individuals 18 or older. If we learn we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it.

13. Terms of Service

The terms governing scheduling, cancellation, payment, access, service scope, damage claims, and liability are set out in our separate Terms of Service, which is incorporated into this document by reference.

14. Website Terms of Use and Intellectual Property

We may update this document at any time. Changes are posted here with a revised effective date. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated by email or text where we have your contact information.
