Terms of Service

Lunova Services LLC

Effective date: August 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling, receiving, or paying for services from Lunova Services LLC (“Lunova,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are booking on behalf of another person or a household, you confirm you have authority to do so and to grant access to the property or vehicle.

These terms cover residential cleaning, mobile detailing, and bin cleaning. How we handle your personal information is described separately in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

2. Scheduling and Arrival

2.1 Arrival windows

We schedule appointments within a 2-hour arrival window rather than an exact time, because job duration varies with property and vehicle condition. We will notify you by text when your technician is en route. If we are running outside your window, we will contact you.

2.2 Recurring service

Cleaning and bin cleaning are available on recurring schedules (weekly, biweekly, monthly, or quarterly) or as one-time service. Recurring service requires no minimum commitment. Your rate is locked for 12 months from your first recurring visit. To pause, change frequency, or cancel a recurring plan, notify us at least 48 hours before your next scheduled visit.

Skipping an individual recurring visit is subject to the cancellation terms in Section 3. Extended gaps between visits may require a one-time reset visit at a higher rate, which we will quote and confirm with you before performing.

2.3 Bin cleaning schedule

Bin cleaning is performed on your regular waste collection day, after your hauler has emptied the bins. Because collection times vary and are outside our control, we cannot guarantee a specific service time on that day.

Leave your bins at the curb after collection. If your bins are returned to a garage, behind a gate, or otherwise inaccessible when we arrive, we cannot perform the service and the missed-appointment fee in Section 3 applies.

If your hauler skips your collection entirely and your bins are still full, notify us as soon as you know and we will reschedule at no charge.

3. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Missed Appointments

3.1 Free changes

Cancel or reschedule at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival window. Contact us by phone, text, or through your client portal.

3.2 Late cancellation and rescheduling fees

Cancellations and reschedule requests made within 24 hours of your appointment are subject to a flat fee:

ServiceLate cancellation / no-show fee
Residential Cleaning$50
Auto Detailing$75
Bin Cleaning$25

This fee covers reserved labor hours, travel, and the appointment slot we held for you. We will always offer a reschedule first, and we routinely waive this fee for genuine emergencies.

3.3 Missed appointments and lockouts

If our technician arrives and cannot access the property, vehicle, or bins, and cannot reach you, we will wait 20 minutes before leaving. The appointment is then treated as a no-show and the fee above applies.

3.4 Weather

We may reschedule for severe weather, unsafe road or working conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control, at no charge to you. You may also reschedule for weather without penalty by notifying us at least 3 hours before your appointment. We make the final determination on whether conditions permit safe and effective work.

3.5 Cancellation by Lunova

We may cancel or reschedule for equipment failure, illness, staffing emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will contact you promptly and reschedule at the earliest mutually available time. You will not be charged for an appointment we cancel.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Payments are processed through Square; we do not store your card number.

Recurring service is billed per visit, not in advance. Invoices unpaid after 15 days accrue a late fee of 1.5% per month or the maximum permitted by Missouri law, whichever is lower. Returned or failed payments incur a $30 fee. We may suspend service on accounts carrying a past-due balance and may require prepayment to resume.

5. Access and Customer Responsibilities

We supply our own water, power, equipment, and products. You do not need to provide utilities or supplies for any service.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate access information — service address, unit or building number, gate and garage codes, alarm codes, key or lockbox location, and parking instructions. See our Privacy Policy for how we safeguard access credentials.
  • Ensuring lawful and safe access — that the vehicle or property is accessible at the scheduled time, in a legal and safe location, and free of restrictions (HOA rules, private lot enforcement, permit parking, tow zones) that would prevent us from working. For detailing at apartment complexes or shared lots, this includes ensuring adequate space for our vehicle and equipment.
  • Securing pets — pets should be secured or removed from work areas for their safety and ours.
  • Removing valuables — cash, jewelry, firearms, medication, sensitive documents, and items of extraordinary or sentimental value should be secured or removed before service. Personal belongings should be removed from vehicles before detailing.
  • Disclosing sensitive areas — delicate landscaping, unsealed or antique surfaces, recently treated flooring, or anything requiring special handling.
  • Disclosing allergies and sensitivities — if anyone in the household has a known allergy or sensitivity to cleaning or detailing products, tell us before service so we can adjust our products. We are not liable for reactions to products where no disclosure was made.

6. Condition Assessment and Additional Charges

Every job is subject to an on-arrival condition assessment. We reserve the right to apply additional charges where condition is significantly beyond what is typical for the service booked, including:

  • Excessive pet hair, dirt, or debris
  • Biohazards, including mold, bodily fluids, or vomit
  • Heavy staining or deep interior contamination
  • Severe exterior neglect, oxidation, or tar buildup
  • Oversized or heavily modified vehicles
  • Properties that have gone significantly longer without service than represented at booking

No additional work will be performed and no additional charge will be applied without your prior verbal or written consent. If you decline the additional work, we will either perform the standard service with adjusted expectations or reschedule, at your choice. If you decline both, the late cancellation fee in Section 3 applies.

7. Right to Decline or Discontinue Service

For the safety of our technicians, we reserve the right to decline service, or to stop work and leave, where we encounter:

  • Biohazardous conditions, including human or animal waste, bodily fluids, needles, or significant mold
  • Hoarding conditions or structural hazards
  • Aggressive or unrestrained animals
  • Threatening, harassing, intoxicated, or unsafe behavior toward our technicians
  • Any condition presenting a genuine risk of injury or illness

Where we leave for these reasons, the full service price may be charged. We will always attempt to communicate the problem and find a workable solution first.

8. Scope Limitations

Unless purchased as an add-on or separately quoted, our services do not include:

Cleaning: interior of ovens and refrigerators, interior windows above safe reach, exterior windows, mold remediation, post-construction cleanup, pest or infestation cleanup, litter box or pet waste handling, moving heavy furniture or appliances, or work requiring ladders above the second story.

Detailing: paint correction, scratch or swirl removal, clear coat repair, dent or trim repair, engine bay detailing, ceramic coating, or headlight restoration.

Bin cleaning: removal of waste the hauler declined to collect, repair or replacement of damaged bins, or cleaning of bins containing hazardous material.

We are happy to quote any of these separately.

9. Results and Pre-Existing Conditions

We take real care with every job, but the results of cleaning and detailing depend heavily on the prior condition of the property or vehicle. We are not liable for the following, and cannot guarantee their removal or improvement:

All services: permanent staining, etching, discoloration, or material degradation; odors, mold, or mildew embedded in porous material; damage arising from pre-existing conditions or deferred maintenance.

Detailing: scratches, chips, dents, or rust; loose trim, moldings, emblems, decals, or window tint; faulty door seals, weather stripping, or convertible tops; oxidized, weakened, peeling, or previously repainted paint; damage to aftermarket parts, accessories, or custom equipment; failure of electronic components during standard cleaning, including power seats, infotainment systems, and seat heaters; stains that will not lift given the material or depth of damage.

Bin cleaning: cracked, warped, or sun-damaged bins; permanent staining or odor in bins with prolonged neglect; damage arising from pre-existing structural weakness in the bin.

Damage to aftermarket or pre-existing damaged components is excluded except where caused by our gross negligence.

10. Post-Service Weather and Conditions

We are not responsible for dirt, water spotting, pollen, dust, road debris, or diminished results caused by weather or conditions after service is complete. This applies particularly to mobile detailing and exterior work.

We do not provide rain checks, refunds, or complimentary redos for post-service weather. If poor conditions are forecast, you are welcome to reschedule in advance under Section 3.4.

11. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If a service was not performed as ordered, or shows clearly poor workmanship, we will return and redo the affected portion at no charge.

To qualify:

  • Report the issue within 24 hours of service completion, by phone, text, or email
  • Provide clear photographs of the areas in question within 24 hours of reporting
  • Allow us to schedule the re-service within 7 days

This guarantee covers rework of the specific deficient areas. It does not cover refunds, results limited by pre-existing conditions under Section 9, changes to condition caused after service under Section 10, or dissatisfaction with services you declined under Section 6. The full terms are on our guarantee page.

12. Damage Claims

Report any suspected damage within 48 hours of service completion, by phone, text, or email, with photographs of the affected area.

We photograph work areas and vehicles before and after every service. These photographs are our primary record in any dispute. Claims reported after 48 hours generally cannot be verified against that record and may be denied on that basis.

We will investigate promptly. Where we are responsible, we will repair, replace, or credit the affected item.

Inspecting and approving the work at completion does not waive your right to report damage within the 48-hour window.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of use of a vehicle, or alternative accommodation costs.

These limits do not apply to liability arising from our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or where limitation is prohibited by law.

14. Environmental Note

We carry our own water and manage our wastewater in accordance with applicable local requirements. We are not liable for incidental runoff of water or product onto landscaping, driveways, or streets in the ordinary course of service. Tell your technician before service begins about any sensitive plantings, drainage concerns, or surfaces requiring protection.

15. Photographs and Video

We photograph and may record video of work areas and vehicles before, during, and after service, for quality control and damage documentation.

We may also use images of completed work in marketing. We exclude house numbers, license plates, mail, documents, family photographs, and other identifying details, and we never identify you by name or address. You may opt out of marketing use at any time by emailing us or telling your technician. Opting out has no effect on your service. Full details are in Section 6 of our Privacy Policy.

16. Independent Contractors

Some services are performed by independent contractors engaged by Lunova. All contractors are bound by confidentiality obligations regarding customer information. Lunova remains your point of contact for scheduling, billing, quality, and claims.

Non-solicitation. You agree not to directly engage any Lunova technician or contractor for services outside of Lunova for 12 months following their last service at your property.

17. Concerns and Communication

If something goes wrong, please contact us first — most issues are resolved the same day. Reach us at (816) 315-1305 or Email us.

Nothing in these terms restricts your right to leave a review, report a concern to a regulator, or speak publicly about your experience.

18. Dispute Resolution

We will attempt to resolve any dispute informally; please contact us before taking further action. Any dispute not resolved within 30 days shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted in Jackson County, Missouri, or by telephone or video where the Rules permit. Each party waives the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

Either party may instead bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.

19. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Changes are posted here with a revised effective date and apply to services booked after that date. Material changes affecting recurring customers will be communicated by email or text.
